Mission

As one of the leading academic centers in dental sciences, the School of Dentistry at Tehran University of Medical Sciences plays a key role in educating dentists and specialists and in promoting oral health in the community. By relying on distinguished faculty members, advanced educational and research facilities, and strategic policies, the school provides a dynamic environment for knowledge development, innovative research, and scientific services. Focusing on national needs while integrating international approaches to dentistry, the School has established itself as a center of excellence at the frontiers of science and has made a significant contribution to improving community oral health.

Vision

The mission of the School of Dentistry is to educate competent specialists and creative researchers who can meet the community’s oral health needs. Emphasizing needs-based research, the development of innovative treatment methods, and active scientific participation of students and faculty members, the School seeks to expand the frontiers of dental knowledge nationally and internationally. Key initiatives include organizing research empowerment programs for faculty and students, providing research facilities, and securing funding for scholarly projects.
