Program Description: 

Prosthodontics is one of the specialty courses in dentistry, which consists of subdivisions fixed prostheses, removable complete prostheses, removable partial prostheses removable maxillofacial prostheses and dental implants.  Graduates passing the specialty and board exams held by the authorities of the Ministry of Health, Treatment and Medical Education will be certified as prosthodontists.

Specific Competencies and Skills

At the end of the program learners will be competent in the following skills:

  • Have thorough knowledge of the stomatognathic apparatus, occlusion and the relevand disorders
  • Have the capacity to diagnose, prepare treatment plan and reconstruct lost intraoral structures
  • Have the capacity to diagnose, prepare treatment plan and reconstruct lost extraoral structures
  • Have the capacity to diagnose, prepare treatment plan and solve problems of occlusion and TMJ disorders
  • Have the ability to teach, carry out research and access scientific sources
