Mission
Approved mission of School of Dentistry of TUMS is as follows:
School of Dentistry has a key role in oral and dental health promotion; our school plays its role by education, research, innovation and dental care delivery. Moreover, we improve our scientific position in national and international levels by developing the foundation of dental and oral health knowledge, training human resource required by the health system and cooperating in policy making.
The mission of Dentistry program is to train competent, efficient graduates in the field of dentistry who are able to meet the needs of the community in the field of oral health, committed to ethics and professionalism in accordance with Iranian-Islamic moralities, be activists in science production playing significant roles in the health system to improve the oral health of the community by providing preventive and therapeutic services.
