First International Graduate of the Faculty-Supervised PhD Program at Tehran University of Medical Sciences, School of Dentistry
The first international graduate of the faculty-supervised PhD program at the School of Dentistry, Tehran University of Medical Sciences, has successfully defended her dissertation in Oral Health and Community Dentistry.
According to the Public Relations Office of the School of Dentistry, Dr. Rasal Abdul Amir Hadi, who had previously earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in Iraq and a specialty in Pediatric Dentistry in Egypt, successfully defended her PhD dissertation today.
Her research, conducted in the field of Oral Health and Community Dentistry, was supervised by Dr. Simin Zahra Mohammadi, Professor at the School of Dentistry, Tehran University of Medical Sciences, and Dr. Mohammad Al-Zubaidi, Assistant Professor at the College of Dentistry, Al-Mustansiriya University, Baghdad.
Reflecting on her academic journey, Dr. Abdul Amir Hadi described her experience in the program as highly valuable and cited the academic quality, educational standards, and the satisfaction of previous postgraduate alumni as the reasons for choosing TUMS School of Dentistry for her doctoral studies.
Her graduation as the first international student of this program marks a significant step toward strengthening international academic and educational collaborations and further enhancing the global standing of the School of Dentistry, Tehran University of Medical Sciences.
