According to Sina Media of Tehran University of Medical Sciences School of Dentistry, in an interview with Dr. Amir Raee Dehaghi, Vice Dean for International Affairs of the School of Dentistry at Tehran University of Medical Sciences, he elaborated on the details of two students' participation from this university in the Stovit 2024 summer program held at Airlangga University, Indonesia.
Dr. Raee highlighted the diversity of participants in this program, which included students from Iran, Japan, Greece, India, Vietnam, England, Thailand, and Malaysia, emphasizing the importance of this event in exchanging knowledge and experiences in the field of dentistry.
He stated, "Following the memorandum of understanding signed with Airlangga University, two outstanding students from the School of Dentistry at Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Dorsa Jalali and Yasamin Karbalaei Kamran, participated in this summer program." He added, "This program provided a valuable opportunity for them to become familiar with the latest scientific achievements in dentistry and exchange ideas with students from other countries."
Dr. Raee also mentioned the diverse activities of this program, including scientific lectures, clinical educational workshops, and student presentations. He added, "These programs helped students update their knowledge about oral and dental health and familiarize themselves with new and innovative approaches in this field."
The Vice Dean for International Affairs of the School of Dentistry concluded by emphasizing that this program, in addition to enhancing students' scientific knowledge, has provided a suitable foundation for future collaborations with Airlangga University and other universities present in this program.
