According to Sina News from Tehran University of Medical Sciences, the 2024 USERN Congress took place from November 8 to 10, hosted by Plovdiv Medical University in Bulgaria, and included prominent scientists and young researchers from around the world in a hybrid format with approximately 100 participants. This scientific event aimed to facilitate knowledge exchange and experiences among researchers and scientists, providing a platform for innovative achievements and enhancing international scientific collaborations.

During the congress, students from the Tehran University of Medical Sciences' School of Dentistry achieved significant honors: Fatemeh Tajafrouz secured second place in the Multidisciplinary: From Formal to Social Sciences category, Ashkan Ghonooei obtained second place in Translational Biological and Medical Reviews, and Azin Ghanbari made valuable contributions through her poster presentation in Innovation and Novelty in Interdisciplinary Sciences. These accomplishments highlight the efforts and scientific capabilities of Iranian students on the international stage.

The congress also featured specialized workshops, informal meetings with top 1% scientists globally, and scientific panels across five different fields, creating exceptional opportunities for knowledge transfer and experience sharing.
