Vice Dean for International Affairs Elaborates on:
Participation of Two Outstanding Students from Tehran University of Medical Sciences School of Dentistry in the Stovit 2024 Summer Program
Dr. Amir Raei Dehqi, Vice Dean for International Affairs at the School of Dentistry, Tehran University of Medical Sciences, provided details about the participation of two outstanding students from the school in the Stovit 2024 Summer Program hosted by Airlangga University, Indonesia.
According to Sina Press, Dr. Raei Dehqi highlighted the diverse nationalities of the participants, which included students from Iran, Japan, Greece, India, Vietnam, the United Kingdom, Thailand, and Malaysia. He emphasized the significance of this event in promoting the exchange of knowledge and experiences in the field of dentistry.
Referring to the memorandum of understanding signed between the two universities, Dr. Raei noted that Dorsa Jalali and Yasmin Karbalaei Kamran, two outstanding students from the School of Dentistry, took part in this summer program. “This program provided them with a valuable opportunity to become familiar with the latest scientific advancements in dentistry and to exchange ideas with students from other countries,” he added.
Dr. Raei also mentioned the program’s diverse activities, including scientific lectures, clinical training workshops, and student presentations. “These activities helped participants update their knowledge on oral health and become acquainted with new and innovative approaches in the field,” he explained.
In conclusion, the Vice Dean emphasized that the program not only enhanced the academic level of the students but also created a solid foundation for future collaborations with Airlangga University and other participating institutions.
