Orthodontics

Overview
 
Orthodontics is a branch of dentistry dealing with malocclusion (improper bites), which may be a result of tooth irregularity, disproportionate jaw relationships, or both. Orthodontic treatments focus on both dental displacement and modification of facial growth.

Department activities

Department of Orthodontics has three main goals:
 
A.    Education: We provide a basic and advanced education for under and post graduate dentistry students and training of the dental technicians.
 
B.     Research: we prepare and submit under and post-graduate thesis based on the researches.
 
C.    Treatment: the department of Orthodontics offers treatments of the patients with fixed and removable appliances under the supervision of the scientific members of the department of the Orthodontics.
